The annual holiday exhibition spans six weekends showcasing the art of 18 local artists in a variety of media including sterling silver, gemstone
and costume jewelry; hand woven scarves, rugs, placemats, and wall decor; hand-turned bowls and vases as well as rustic cutting boards and tables;
pottery and ceramics, wearable art, handknit children's dresses, hand-made baskets, oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, graphite drawings,
fine art photography, wet felted vessels, greeting cards and more.

Pottery and Nature

Nature influences many of my works. Whether at my cabin or on a trail, I may find a fern, pine bough or fallen piece of bark to press into the clay of my next hand-built creation. I love organic shapes and draped pieces, often finding myself deep in the aisles of the fabric store looking for that perfect piece of fabric – not to make clothing, but for use in the pottery studio! I enjoy making both functional and decorative pottery – sometimes in one piece.

Ann can also help you design children's art programs for summer camps and other events.
She currently designs art projects for the annual Spooky Nights event at the Cook Forest Ridge Campground.

POTTERY'Playing with clay' has been a passion of mine since 2016 after my daughter started bringing home these wonderful ceramic pieces from college. The movement of the clay, the glaze colors-you can't help but love it. We now get muddy in the studio together!

FIBERFiber in various forms has been part of my life since the age of 7, when my older sister taught me to use our mother's sewing machine. Toss me some yarn and you'll find me knitting, felting or weaving on a table loom - or mixing it up and
'fiber-ing' on my pottery!
