Meet the Artist
Growing up in a creative home with a printer father, Ann Harting began sewing at the age of seven, inspired by her mother, an accomplished seamstress and quilter, and grandmother, a dance costume and pageant dress designer. She’s an accomplished seamstress herself - even designing her own wedding gown.
Inspired by nature, you’ll often find natural elements within her pieces, and her pottery and fiber art combined into one. Prior to finding a love for clay, she taught rubber stamping and scrapbooking for over twenty years - with kinetic cards her specialty. Ann teaches fiber arts: knitting, weaving, dyeing; pottery; fused glass and other art forms. Please use the contact form if you'd like to discuss her teaching at your facility. Her art is primarily available at The Gallery at New Bethlehem Town Center, the Red Brick Gallery and Gift Shop, the Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the Arts and at exhibitions throughout the year. See a piece online you'd like to have? Please contact me. If it's still available, it can be delivered to one of the above galleries for you. |
